I’ve always felt like I didn’t quite fit in, even when things looked “fine” from the outside. Many of us wear masks to hide our true selves, and I wanted to create a space where those masks can come off. This platform is about sharing struggles and triumphs openly, embracing vulnerability, and celebrating our beautifully imperfect journeys together.
My Story
Hi, I’m Frankie, 45, married, a proud stepmom to two amazing girls, and an unapologetic animal lover. I believe in making small changes that ripple into big impacts for our planet, and I try to live in the present moment (even when it’s messy).
I spent years in HR, a safe choice that paid the bills, but it left my creative side dormant. Along the way, I became People Operations certified, which gave me tools to understand people and workplace dynamics. Still, deep down, I always felt like something was missing. As a free spirit, I’ve learned to see beauty where others might overlook it, and creativity has always been at the heart of who I am.
Through Misfits: The Beautifully Imperfect, I’m reconnecting with that side of myself and hopefully inspiring others to embrace their uniqueness, find their own beauty, and discover belonging along the way.
